Disciples’ Literal New Testament

33 But whoever denies[a] Me in front of people, I also will deny him in front of My Father in the heavens. 34 Do not suppose that I came to cast peace over the earth. I did not come to cast peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to cause-a-separation[b]— a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
